The hostess was very friendly and provided a lot of information about the historic home and the area in general. The breakfast was delicious! And it was served on fine china... the dining table was set so beautifully. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Our hostess Burnette was fantastic and gracious, as our booking was made at last minute. The complimentary beverages in the room were enjoyable. The breakfasts were so delicious, as well as the coffee. We loved sitting on the lovely back porch. You cannot leave without feeling that Burnette is your new friend!

The owner was more than accommodating and gracious. What a fantastic location to the downtown area and many other properties. We spent two nights and had a great opportunity to connect with the owner and six other people staying at the property. When we return to Columbus we will not look for any other property. We will stay here again! Comfortable beds, quiet rooms and great breakfast! Thanks Burnette!

We enjoyed it all! The home is absolutely gorgeous & full of priceless antiques. However, what made it stand out from other similar Bed & Breakfasts was the owner, Burnette. She is a delightful lady & radiates southern hospitality.

Burnett is so gracious and Shadowlawn is such a beautiful home. The room was large and the bed was so comfortable. It felt like staying at a family member's home...and the strawberry soup!! Oh my!! Delicous! Thank you Burnett for a lovely weekend.

We got there earlier than expected and there was no problem checking in early. The house and furnishings were a sight to behold! Quite beautiful! The breakfast was wonderful and the owner was very friendly and accommodating.
